WOW! What A Turnout for our January Kickoff Meeting!

Thank you to everyone who took time to join us at the Longhorn Steakhouse last Saturday! It was great to see old and new friends and talk about AMC. Here are a few highlights from the discussions at the meeting.

Carolina AMC at the AutoFair - Spring Show

We will request all 25 spots again for the spring show, keeping the cost to $20 and offering a special 1st Time Show rate of only $10 for anyone who hasn't displayed their AMC at this great show.

2013 AMO Southest Regional - sponsored by Carolina AMC

After discussion, we have chosen Charleston South Carolina as the host city for the Regional, and specifically plan on having the event at the Tanger Outlet Mall. With plenty of time to prepare and the help of the local Chamber, we believe it will be a great location for AMCers to gather from all around the South. This year our friends down in Florida's First Coast AMO will host the Regional, watch for details soon.

Clubmember Amy Bright accepts nomination as Treasurer

After serving the club for several years, clubmember Jonathan Tucker has stepped down as Treasurer. We all appreciate his involvement with our club and guidance he has given us in keeping up with funds as the club has grown over the past few years. After a brief discussion, Amy Bright was nominated and accepted an interim term of Treasurer for 2012.

2014 AMO National

We continue to discuss the possibility of hosting the BIG ONE, the AMO National. More details will follow, but for now we plan on presenting to AMO at this year's national in Boston to host an upcoming national event in the future.

2012 Carolina AMC Southern Homecoming Event

Building on last years Southern National, we will continue this year in having a show for ALL AMC owners in the area to attend. We are exploring a few options, which include making this show a part of the Mopar Farmington event, or possibly a location in the Raleigh/Durham area. Event final details will be announced at the Spring AutoFair.

Thank you to everyone who helped us 'clear the shelves' of our old style shirts, We raised $150 for the club in shirt sales. We still have $5 Southern Nationals shirts available for sale in the club store.
